The CEYLAN ROBOT cuts and portions automatically — with adjustable cutting thickness, adjustable cooking programmes for each type of meat and technical support by remote maintenance.
Distinction from the electric Döner knife
The electric Döner knife is a hand-held tool — operated by staff, one tool per workstation. The CEYLAN ROBOT is a machine in its own right — it cuts and portions without an operator, is a capital investment with planned installation and is supported through machine service, controls and integration. The two therefore belong to separate main categories.

CEYLAN ROBOTS cut and portion automatically — as a gas or electric variant, for conical and cylindrical meat spits. A CEYLAN ROBOT is not an extension of the hand-held Döner knife but a machine in its own right and a capital asset with its own planning, installation and service logic.
What automation is built for
At the grill, cutting permanently occupies one person. Where staff are scarce, where equal portions are required throughout the day, or where new employees must be operational at short notice, a machine shifts the requirement: it is not experience with the knife that determines the result, but the setting on the device.
How the machine works
The cutting process runs automatically across the spit height; cutting thickness is adjustable, operation is guided in several languages. Conical and cylindrical spits are both processed. An integrated holding system keeps the cut meat until service.
Variants and naming
The digit in the model name states the number of burners, G stands for gas, E for electric. Dimensions, connected load, gas consumption and weight are given in the model overview.
Installation and support
A machine of this class is planned, not ordered: installation dimensions, connection type, extraction and the workflow at the service point belong before the decision. For CEYLAN ROBOTS we provide support by remote maintenance — settings and fault patterns can be assessed without a site visit. Equipment can be viewed at the showroom in Essen, Germany.
